Day 1: Arrival and assistance at the International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in San Jose. Overnight in San José.
Day 2: Morning departure towards Arenal Volcano. The most active volcano in Costa Rica. In the afternoon, go to the Hot Water Springs and enjoy a fabulous dinner while watching the volcano at night. Overnight in La Fortuna.
Day 3: Morning departure to Tortuguero National Park. On the way, discover banana plantations and other attractions, such as the Braulio Carrillo National Park. Tour thru the canals and afternoon arrival in Tortuguero. Overnight.
Day 4: Morning departure and tour to the town of Tortuguero. Discover this cozy little town and its inhabitants. Late afternoon at leisure and optional tours. Overnight in Tortuguero.
Day 5: Tour thru the canals of Tortuguero. See crocodiles, monkeys and many bird species. Mid afternoon departure towards Puerto Viejo and Cahuita. This area, the Southern Caribbean Coast, is well known for its Afro – Caribbean Culture, exotic and lush tropical rainforest and beautiful virgin beaches. Afternoon arrival and overnight in Puerto Viejo.
Day 6: Tour to Cahuita National Park. Discover Puerto Vargas and Cahuita National Park. Howler Monkeys, Birds and other animals are to be seen in the park, besides very exotic vegetation and pristine beaches. Afternoon return and overnight in Puerto Viejo.
Day 7: Tour to the Shiroles Indigenous reserve. Afternoon return, and late afternoon at leisure to spend at the beach or in Puerto Viejo Town. Overnight in Puerto Viejo.
Day 8: Departure back to San José. Overnight in San José.
Day 9: Transfer to the International Airport and Good Bye.
