After this ride, we will continue this tour by going to the town of Santa Elena where we will have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, you are invited to walk the nature trails of La Finca Ecologica de Monteverde where you will be allowed to see a great variety of flora and fauna unique to this environment., or choose: Serpentariun, Ranario, Butherfly Garden. Around 3:30 pm we will head back to Fortuna, traveling the scenic route on our descend to Lake Arenal shores while enjoying a relaxing view of the cloud forest.

After a 2½ hour-drive from the rainforest you will be taken to the wonderful world of the cloud forest.
Our excursion will start by picking you up at your hotel, then a transfer ride on an A/C minibus to Lake Arenal. At the dam, you will board a boat to do a 25 minute-boat ride across the lake up to Rio Chiquito where a 4 X 4 car will be waiting for you to drive you up to the Sky Trek station located at Monteverde Cloud Forest. Here is where the adventure tour starts, get ready for a lifetime experience. Sky Trek is secure system of trails and zip lines in which you glide through the canopy of the forest to see a different perspective of the cloud forest. Sky Trek is similar, in a way, to other canopy tour in Costa Rica, but it incorporates some significant differences such as larger scales with more zip lines and platforms, longer trails, and a suspension bridge. Furthermore, the construction consists of protective and secure materials, including metal platforms with mesh-covered steal rails which prevents from falling off or sliding.
